During the colder winter months, it's important to protect your pots properly from the cold. This post will help you prepare your containers and plants for the infamous British winter.
Proctecting containers from frost
To protect your pots from the cold frost, surrond them with some bubble wrap or place them under tempory cover. If it has heavily rained the previous night, and the soil in your pots have become soaked through with water, place the container inside some temporary cover. This will allow the soil to dry out, and minimise the chance of the soil freezing over when tempratures go below 0.
Although watering is not neccesary during these months, evergreens and conifers will still need watering especially if they are placed under cover. Make sure to check on them weekly and water if necessary. Feeding your plant's howvwe is not neccesary.
